We pick you up at your hotel and head off to the Miraflores Locks to watch the ships transit the locks, learn more about the canal at the museum and watch a short film about the canal's history. Enjoy the view of the city from above at the top of Cerro Ancon! Check out the artisan market for the best Panamanian made souvenirs before we head to the Amador for a photo stop at the Bridge of the Americas, a short nature trail walk on the Smithsonian owned Punta Culebra and lunch (not included). The rest of the afternoon will be spent on a walking tour of old town, Casco Viejo. Marvel at its spectacular architecture and learn about the history of this world heritage site.
